We report this listing of activities and support for Lee Road missions ministry for 2007: - Monthly Children’s Mission Offerings
- Bethlehem Center/Spartanburg
- Taylors Free Medical Clinic
- Epworth Children’s Home
- New Direction Farm Ministries
- United Ministries—CMO, regular food donations, Bag-It Project (78 bags of groceries), Youth towel project
- UM Children’s Fund with VBS
- Hollis Academy—CMO and school supplies
- Bed Nets Project
- Red Bird Mission
- Bethlehem Center/Spartanburg
- Wedding dresses and prom dresses donations plus CMO
- Carriage House Assisted Care
- Quarterly birthday parties for residents
- Christmas party with gifts from our congregation
- GAIHN (Greenville Area Interfaith Hospitality Network)
- Lee Road in conjunction with St. Mary’s Catholic church provided classroom housing, dinners, breakfasts, lunches plus volunteer hosts and hostesses.
- Operation Christmas Child
- Shoebox Gift Project/Samaritan’s Purse (75 shoeboxes were sent)
- Project Hope Soup Kitchen
- Volunteers cooked and served food each quarter.
- Salkehatchie Summer Project
- One adult and one youth helped restore a house in the lower part of the state.
- SC Conference Food Bank Project
- Project done in Florence, SC with 73 canned goods sent to replenish food pantries.
Several Sunday School classes, United Methodist Women, United Methodist Men, Lee RoadYouth and individuals supported additional projects that are not listed above. They include Meals on Wheels, Greenville Free Medical Clinic, Alston Wilkes Society, Relay for Life, Wallace Life Center, cards sent to missionaries, Abbeville’s Tracy Jackson Project and Homes for Hope. We submit this report with thankfulness for this congregation working through the Holy Spirit.
